Manchester United & City top the WSL as Arsenal beat Chelsea in Conti Cup Final by Michelle

The Women’s Super League was back in action this weekend and it has changed the shape of the WSL table’s top 4. Arsenal & Chelsea were not involved in WSL games this weekend as they faced each other in the FA Women’s Conti Cup Final at a sold-out Selhurst Park.  Arsenal ran out 3-1 winners but now both teams have some catching up to do on the WSL front. The top WSL fixtures taking place this weekend and results were as follows:

These results have changed the look of the Top 4 in the Women’s Super League table with Manchester United extending their lead at the top, Manchester City moving up to 2nd place and Chelsea dropping to 3rd. Of course, Arsenal and Chelsea have 2 games in hand over the other teams but it will be a number of weeks before they fully ‘catch up’.  The WSL table:
