At Meadow Park yesterday, Arsenal achieved a stunning comeback to defeat Manchester City and keep their hopes of winning the WSL title alive.

Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw scored the first goal just five minutes into the match, with Arsenal failing to convert a couple of chances before heading into the break 1-0 down. The Gunners also suffered an injury blow, with Australian international Caitlin Foord leaving the pitch in the 35th minute and being replaced by Weinroither.

However, a second-half equalizer from Maanum in the 62nd minute and an incredible goal from Katie McCabe in the 74th minute turned the match around for Arsenal. The Gunners managed to secure a 2-1 victory over Manchester City, moving back into the top 3 of the WSL.
