This weekend saw all games in the fifth round proper ties take place and the winners of those games are through to the Vitality Women’s FA Cup quarter-finals.  The competition is now down to the last eight clubs and fans will be able to watch the quarter-final draw with Gilly Flaherty live in the studio to pull out the balls.

The quarter-final will take place on Sunday 19 March 2023.

Ahead of the draw, you can see the ball numbers below.

1 Birmingham City
2 Manchester United
3 Aston Villa
4 Lewes
5 Reading
6 Chelsea
7 Brighton & Hove Albion
8 Manchester City

The Vitality Women’s FA Cup quarter-final draw will be made on this evening Monday 27th February, live on the BBC’s One Show from 7pm UK.

The top 4 WSL clubs are (in order of current WSL positioning) Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal. Arsenal are the only one of the top clubs not to reach the quarter-finals after being beaten 2-0 by Chelsea at Kingsmeadow in their match yesterday. The lowest ranking club left in the running is Lewes Women who are a middle of the league Championship team. All other teams are in the Barclays Women’s Super League..

Can’t wait to see who’s up against who when the draw takes place!
